ROUTEWARE EXPANDS SALES TEAM WITH HIRE OF SUSAN SCHALK AND SCOTT BIRD
BEAVERTON, OR – JUNE 16, 2010 – Routeware, Inc., a leader in
ground-breaking hardware and software solutions for the waste industry,
announced a significant expansion of the sales team with the hiring of
Susan Schalk and Scott Bird.
Schalk will serve as Regional Sales Director for the
southcentral United States, while Bird will serve in the same capacity
for the southeast US. Schalk will work out the Los Angeles area and Bird
will be located North Carolina.
"Susan and Scoot bring a great deal of experience and
enthusiasm to our seasoned sales team,” said Dennis Keizer, Vice
President of Sales. “Their accomplishments, combined with their

Schalk began in the waste industry in 1990, holding
positions as a sales rep, major account manager, district sales manager,
and area segment vice president of sales. She was also a team leader
focusing on operational efficiencies within the Chicago market. Schalk has worked for independent haulers as well as corporate pacesetters Waste Management and BFI.
A native resident of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Bird has
over 12 years of experience in sales, business development, and
training. He has managed enterprise level accounts on a national level
and has excelled in opening new markets for products and services while
directing sales organizations. His business experience spans companies
large and small, as well as service in the public sector, including
Department of Defense contractors.
